Part 3 of the Warriors' YouTube exclusive film on their 2014-15 championship team tackled the team's run through the Western Conference Playoffs, including a first-round sweep of the New Orleans Pelicans, a six-game victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in the Semifinals and a five-game triumph against the Houston Rockets in the Conference Finals. In their road through the West, Stephen Curry and the Dubs faced an All-NBA First Team player in each round — Anthony Davis in Round 1, Marc Gasol in Round 2 and James Harden in Round 3. Waiting for them in the finals was the final member of the team, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. A common expression about the NBA Playoffs is that the series doesn't really start until a road team wins a game. So when the top-seeded Warriors took care of business, winning their first two playoff games at Oracle Arena, they came into Game 3 still very hungry to firmly take control of the series. They trailed by 17 points with six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, but then Curry happened, as he hit a three to bring the Dubs within two with 11.8 seconds left and with 2.8 seconds left, he tied the game with a smothered contested corner three with two defenders draped all over. Marreese Speights was the unsung hero on Curry's game-tying shot, securing a critical offensive rebound to give him a second chance at the reload 3-pointer. Curry finished with 40 points and the Warriors won in overtime to take a 3-0 series lead — no team in NBA history has overcome that deficit to win.
